How do you create receptor sites?

E-mail Print PDF

Receptor sites are made by these different techniques:

  1. In the hairline area they are created using the titanium needles (by depth controlled technique). These receptor sites can accept only single hairs.
  2. In the area behind the hairline, depth controlled titanium micro punches are used to create a receptor site that can accept two- or three-hair follicular units.
  3. In the thinning area, special micro needles are used to avoid damage to the existing hair.
  4. In special circumstances, especially people on blood thinning medication or have bleeding tendencies like hemophilia, lasers are used to create the sites.
